There once was a woman who forgot her nephew's birthday...
Once upon a time, maybe a few months ago, maybe more, I forgot my nephew's birthday. He lives far away, he's a newer addition to the family and, excuses aside, I simply forgot the date. When I finally remembered that I forgot, I realized I had no idea what he was interested in any more.
That's when I started looking at to-do apps to see which I could use to help me remember important dates for people and their interests. When I couldn't find one, I decided to create one. An app that would not only remind me all of the important personal events, such as birthdays and anniversaries, but would let me keep track of what each person likes, their sizes in case I wanted to buy them clothes. It could save ideas for gifts that I had even when a birthday was far away and it could tell me what I gave them in the past. In short, it would make sure I'd never forget a gift again.
That's what Wrapped Up is about. It's about not forgetting an occasion. It's about giving the right gift at the right time.
Please see the blog for an introduction to Wrapped Up.
I hope you enjoy using it. Feedback is always welcome.
